Chinese Antique Mahjong Wood and Brass Case Game Set with 144 Bakelite Tiles.
This is a wonderful set that has a Chinese man and Chinese characters carved on
the front panel which slides in from the top edge. There is brass detailing on
the top at each corner, brass pulls on each drawer and box joint detailing on
all edges. The brass handle is missing. There are 5 drawers total, 4 complete
with 36 tiles each and the 5th full of bone and bakelite playing sticks, 2
small dice and a small round box with 4 round discs. A beautiful set that seems
to have been well cared for and well used.

Dimensions: 9 1/2" L x 6 3/4" W x 6 1/2" Ht. The box is in good antique
condition. There are wear marks from age and use. The tiles have some
discoloration. Tile dimension is 7/8" W x 1 1/4" Ht. x 1/2" thick. The tiles
are plain on the backs and sides.
