leather mahjongg box

this is a very nice leather box with 5 trays of 144 mahjongg tiles with 4
blanks. this is a complete set with the 4 extra tiles in case one gets lost.
the tiles are bone and bamboo and show almost no wear and very minor yellowing
of the bone portion of the tile. the flower/immortal tiles are all matched and
are original to the set. the one circle is particularly nice with lots of fine
detail.

the counting bones are bone. these are the flat and polished counters and are
a joy to play with. especially when receiving them. there is a small bone dice
box of with 4 tiny dice. i've included 2 slightly larger dice. the key to the
lock on the leather box is also included, a rarity for something this old.

the leather handle has been replaced, riveted and wrapped with a leather shoe
lace. i have conditioned the leather but it still shows the years of wear.

if this explanation sounds to dire or negative, please be aware that i'm just
attempting to be honest. it's a beautiful set, but it's also almost 100 years
old. i should look so good if i make it until 100.
