Mah Jongg tile storage bag

Beautiful but functional, Mah Jongg tile storage bag. This listing is for a
pretty oriental-style navy-blue floral print. It is made from a medium weight
cotton-polyester duck fabric with a coordinating white zipper.
Get rid of the annoying tile racks and/or plastic zip bags you have been
using. Each bag will hold a complete set of Mah Jongg tiles with some room to
spare for your dice or extra jokers ; )
I made one of these bags for myself after getting frustrated with the tile
racks my set came with. Unloading tiles from the racks often resulted in tiles
bouncing to the floor, since they came out all at once in a long line. Loading
tiles back into the rack after playing was cumbersome and time-consuming.
Unloading tiles from my new bag was easy, as tiles are dumped out of the bag
onto the table in one compact pile; no stray tiles getting lost or chipped.
Loading the bag with tiles after play was even easier; the bag is propped open
and tiles are dropped in by the handful. One Mah Jongg friend discovered that
if someone holds the bag open at the end of the table, another player can sweep
the tiles into the bag in a minute.
My Mah Jongg friends liked my bag so much they requested I make bags for them.
Soon I was making them for my local Mah Jongg club, and my business took off. I
have fun combing the aisles at my local fabric store, looking for interesting
and fun materials with which to work. Look through my shop and you will see
many different examples. I will be adding more bags as they are made but some
may be one-of-a-kind, so if you see one that you particularly like, grab it! It
may not be available for long.
All seams are double stitched, as well as all raw edges. They will not fray or
come loose at the seams. Initially, you may see some stray cut threads as a
result of the sewing process but this does not affect the overall integrity of
the product and will decrease over time. You should not need to wash your bag,
but if it is necessary it is automatic washer and dryer safe.
Each bag is made from quality materials, including a 16 inch nylon zipper and
strong polyester thread. The finished dimensions are 19 X 6 inches, allowing
each bag to fit snugly but easily into a standard hard-cover Mah Jongg storage
case.
