Ok we have been getting asked to do Dice Towers for such a long time but the
only problem is they are a little boring. So we decided to re-design them as
reconfigurable modular Dice Towers (or as we like to think of them Dice Mazes).
We have designed, rigorously tested and refined 12 inital designs of dice maze
cubes that can be chained together to create dice towers as big or as small as
you like! Each cube is 100mm x 100mm x 50mm in dimensions with a clear perspex
front so you can see inside and use (very strong) neodymium magnets allowing
them to be easily attached to any ferrous metal surface that you can attach a
magnet to. Because the magnets are that strong each dice maze cube also has
felt feet on the backing to stop it from scratching up the surface you attach
it to.
In the range we have 3x straight pieces, 2x curves, 3x L drop shapes, 2x end
stops and 2 splitters to give you a LOT of combinations that are possible.
Check out the video for some examples but you can make long chains or even
split them off into different end points OR split them apart and bring them
back together. The only real limit is how big is the piece of metal you can
attaching these to (but a fridge is a pretty big canvas). You could even be
SUPER experimental and throw in some gaps if you are feeling dangerous.
Right now we are not building purpose dice towers to put these into because
ferrous metals are honestly heavy and the postage cost would be way too much
but that does not stop you getting a metal board from your local office supply
store or using your fridge, freezer, dishwasher, etc. These magnets are super
strong but the felt has been added to make them easier to use and safer for
surfaces. You should be able to open your fridge with these attached without an
issue but we would suggest not flinging the door open with all of your might.
Currently we are using Red PLA (planet based plastic) which can be primed and
painted but if you are after another colour please ask and it might be
possible. Each perspex cover can be unscrewed with a standard phillips head
screwdriver for painting OR if you are using the end stop cube you can
reposition the cover to be a left, right or straight end point.

Due to some limitations on how we can list items with postage we will create
multiple listings for larger quantities but are starting with just a basic
small listing. If you are after a set number let us know if you cannot find a
listing with the amount you want so we can ensure it is setup with the correct
postage (if you pay way too much for postage then don't worry we will let you
know).
