Vintage RDC Mah Jongg Set w/8 natural jokers - 156 Gorgeous Butterscotch tiles NMJL ready!

This classic vintage mah jongg set by famous maker Royal Depth Control is
coming out of the vault!

A perennial favorite among players and collectors alike, this set was
manufactured in the mid to late 1960’s, and the tiles are made of Catalin (an
early plastic like Bakelite). Wonderfully smooth to the touch with a delightful
“clattering” timbre, these sets are dependable and durable - a real joy to play
with! The tiles are in fantastic shape and are ready to get back into action
after more than 50 years in storage…

There are 156 tiles total, including 12 flowers and 8 jokers (6 natural, 2
with custom stickers). This set has not seen much use - very minimal signs of
wear, and the paint is still bright and easy to read. Note some slight storage
fade on the tile backs (typical of older sets). Original to the set are 4
bakelite racks in a rainbow palette of red, orange, yellow, green. Vintage dice
and two-tone yellow/green bakelite bettor are included. Also included is a Mah
Jongg “That’s It” booklet from 1970/1971 (so, a few years after the set was
made). The red hard case is sturdy and clean - it shows some minor shelf wear.
